Summer road trips should be safe and fun for the whole family. They take a lot of careful and thoughtful planning. Before people embark on any preparation, they need to get to know the route they will be taking for their road trip. This should be available in a relevant map which can be easily followed. It should include all the trip’s destination details. Friends or family staying behind should be briefed on intended routes. In cases where sudden route changes are inevitable, drivers need to be well equipped within alternatives. The driver should never be the one reading the route map.
